Privacy Policy
CentMatch is run by Zachary Thompson in Maryland, USA ("we" or "us"). This policy covers the CentMatch split calculator and the beta waitlist on this site. The CentMatch app is not open yet. We will post a new policy before it opens.
The short version
- Numbers you type in the calculator stay in your browser. We never see them.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when the beta opens.
- We set no cookies, run no analytics and never sell or rent your email.
- Email us and we will delete your email address.
What we collect
The calculator. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The nights, rates, fees and splits you enter stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
The waitlist. When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address
- where you signed up, for example "calculator"
- the date and time you joined
We also keep a record that a sign-up happened on that page, so we can count sign-ups. That record does not include your email. We do not store your IP address, location or device details with your sign-up.
The form has a hidden field that people never see. Only bots fill it in. When it is filled in, we store nothing.
Who else sees your information
Like most websites, this site relies on other companies to run. When your browser connects to them, they receive basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and the waitlist database. It handles every request to the site and may keep short-term logs for security and to keep the service running. Cloudflare runs data centers around the world, so a request may be handled outside the United States. Read Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts delivers the Figtree typeface this site uses. Your browser downloads the font from Google, so Google receives your IP address. Read Google's privacy policy.
When we email the waitlist, we will use an email delivery service. It receives your email address only to deliver our message. We will name it in this policy before the first email goes out.
We do not share your information with anyone else, except when the law requires it.
How we use your email
- To tell you when the beta opens.
- To reply if you write to us.
We will not add you to other lists. We will not sell, rent or trade your email, and we will not share it with advertisers. We do not give it to AI services or use it to train AI models.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, ad trackers or tracking pixels. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Since we do not track you on this site or across other sites, there is nothing for that signal to turn off, and we treat every visitor the same way.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If CentMatch does not launch, we will delete the whole waitlist.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you whether we have your email address
- correct it
- delete it
Email tieoutllc@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We will reply within 30 days. These choices apply to everyone, wherever you live. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Security
Your email is stored in a Cloudflare database. On our side, only Zachary Thompson can access it. Connections to this site are encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep what we store small on purpose.
Children
This site is for adults who manage short-term rentals. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect email addresses from children. If you think a child joined the waitlist, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we will email the waitlist before it takes effect.
